As our International Payroll Specialist, you oversee employee payroll processing in various countries. You ensure accurate and timely payment of wages, taxes, and other compensation-related matters while staying compliant with local labour laws and regulations. You are also crucial in maintaining payroll records, resolving payroll-related issues, and assisting with reporting and analysis.

How you’ll help us.

Based out of our EMEA Headquarters, just outside of Amsterdam, Netherlands and reporting to the Payroll Team Lead, as part of the role, you’ll:

  • Process payroll for employees across different countries, ensuring accuracy and adherence to local regulations.
  • Stay current with international labour laws, tax regulations, and other legal requirements related to payroll.
  • Maintain accurate and organised payroll records, including pay rates, deductions, benefits, and other relevant information.
  • Collaborate with HR, finance, and legal teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes and compliance efforts.
  • Address payroll discrepancies, errors, and issues promptly, investigating and resolving them on time.
  • Generate regular and ad hoc payroll reports for management, finance, and HR teams.
  • Participate in developing and in payroll systems, processes, and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide guidance and training to colleagues, HR, and management on international payroll policies, processes, and compliance.

More about you.

  • Qualification in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • Understanding international payroll regulations, tax laws, and labour regulations, ideally with experience with multi-country payroll.
  • 2-4 years of experience with payroll processing software and systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
