Special Channel Associate

Position purpose:

The Associate is responsible for managing and developing relationships with key clients in the Ho.re.ca. channel while also identifying and acquiring new business opportunities. He/she has a deep understanding of the HORECA industry, a proven track record of client relationship management, and the ability to build new partnerships.

Strong relationship-building skills, and a proven track record in managing accounts and driving sales growth within this channel. The role requires a proactive individual capable of strategically managing customer relationships, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring the overall satisfaction of key clients.

In this role, you will manage key client accounts, develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, and ensure the seamless execution of events and hospitality-related projects. You will be the main point of contact for clients, working closely with them to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions that exceed expectations.

What will you do – responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with accounts and drive sales growth within this channel.
  • Regularly visit clients to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling to meet clients’ specific needs and business objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all client inquiries and concerns, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and timely resolution of issues.
  • Educate clients on product offerings and innovations, delivering product demonstrations and training to ensure optimal usage and customer engagement.
  • Identify new business opportunities within the Ho.Re.Ca. and hospitality sector, events industries, creating proposals and pitching services to potential clients - from lead generation to negotiation and finalizing contracts.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts, tracking performance against targets, and contributing to strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands, providing insights to enhance the company’s positioning and product offerings within the Ho.Re.Ca space.
  • Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, logistics, and product development to ensure alignment and support for client needs and project execution.

In 6 months you will:

  • Acquire knowledge and understanding of market environment and dynamics.
  • Become self-sufficient in supporting the development of activities on the assigned regions as well as activities related to your position.

Who are we looking for – requirements:

  • University degree (Business Economics) - Event Manager master (plus).
  • 2/3 years in account management, project management, or a related role in the Ho.Re.Ca./ events industry.
  • Communication, teamworking and presentation skills.
  • Adaptability and flexibility skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with a customer-centric approach to account management.
  • Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably within the Ho.Re.Ca. sector.
  • Fluency in English.
