Role Description:

As a SAP MDG associate specialist, you will design and implement solutions for the master data governance, day-to-day SAP optimization, setting up new functionalities, customizing or modifying existing functionalities to transform the as-is processes.

You will utilize your knowledge and experience of SAP MDG to design solutions which meet business objectives and goals. You will participate in the development of solution design documents, functional design documents, configuration, testing and deployment. You will partner with senior team members, business users and other technology teams to identify opportunities for improvement and offer up appropriate solution designs to meet business objectives.

Through your experience of MDG, you will translate business requirements into system configuration which meet business requirements.

This role involves extensive daily interaction with other functional specialists and developers in all finance and IT departments in Booking.com. It is essential that you have a strong understanding of finance processes and integration with legacy systems and you have strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills in English.

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Collaborate with operational teams, data owners, and partners to ensure the understanding and alignment of E2E data governance processes
  • Actively work with the cross-divisional teams to build solution for master data management processes
  • Translates detailed business requirements to IT organization and manages changes to such specifications
  • Providing scalable and innovative solutions;
  • Ability to take fast decisions in a very dynamic environment, with some level of uncertainty
  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities (processes, people) to improve project delivery and/or development methodologies.
  • Training of key users and key user support. Analyzing issues and changes

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP and 2+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MDG
  • SAP MDG functional and customizing experience in at least of the Master Data Domains namely MDG-F and MDG-BP,
  • System interfaces - Inbound/Outbound Interfaces across various systems using Distribution Rule Framework (DRF) – Data Transfer, REST APIs, Key & Value Mapping
  • Experience with Enterprise Data Governance
  • Preferred-User Interface Implementation, Fiori UI5, via Floorplan Manager (FPM) and Web Dynpro
  • Good to have - ABAP, Workflows, Data Migration experience
  • S4HANA project experience
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Organized, flexible, proactive and result-oriented.
