Job Description

Image Guided Therapy Devices (IGTD) is part of the Image Guided Therapy (IGT) business cluster at Philips. It consists of three primary segments:

  • Coronary
  • Peripheral Vascular
  • Heart Rhythm Management

IGTD offers advanced tools and technologies designed to innovate minimally-invasive, interventional procedures across these clinical domains, supporting the cluster’s goal of improving 2.5 billion lives per year by 2030.

As a Business Capability Expert (BCE) at IGT-D Philips, you play a key role in creating, deploying, and maturing the capabilities necessary to stay successful in a rapidly transforming world.

In this role

  • You will be one of the Business Capability Experts in the IGT-D Process System Excellence (PSE) team.
  • You will work closely together with other members in the PSE and functions.
  • You will support the lead BCE in the commercial domain.
  • You will help the IGT-D departments/functions to realize their strategic objectives and operational excellence ambitions.

Your responsibilities

  • Support the design, build, and deployment of new capabilities for the commercial domain covering opportunity management (CRM), configure-price-quote (CPQ), contract management, and order management, mainly related to process, validation, and business quality system-related activities.
  • Develop and execute testing scenarios.
  • Analyze data in systems, develop (KPI) reports, and make recommendations.
  • Support end users by providing demos, creating training materials, and work instructions.
  • Drive business-relevant software validation deliverables and ensure handover to business and quality management systems with quality and consistency.
  • Interact and collaborate with users in the markets, peers, and supporting functions like IT and Quality & training to ensure capabilities are well deployed and adopted in line with the business’s needs. Where needed, identify and resolve problems.
  • Build and operate a strong network of stakeholders, subject matter experts, and peers in Markets, Businesses, and other functions.

You will be part of the IGTD System Process Excellence (PSE) organization, which enables businesses and markets to reach their strategic ambitions. You will join a diverse global Business Capability Experts team and focus on supporting the commercial domain.

You're the right fit if:

  • Minimal 5 years of international experience in the commercial healthcare domain, experience in the device business is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated quality and compliance mindset in a regulated medical device environment.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative, values impact over effort, puts ‘’the greater good’’ above self, and is willing to support others and learn & adapt in a dynamic and changing organization.
  • Hands-on experience and technical affinity with Salesforce and SAP platforms is a strong advantage.
  • Organized and structured mindset to plan and create deliverables in a clear way.
  • Team player, who can also easily communicate and collaborate with many different people.
  • Have an intrinsic curiosity to expand knowledge of processes and systems to improve overall performance.
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree by education (Engineering, Business Administration, or Economics).
  • Fluent in English speaking and writing.
