About this role:

As a pivotal member of the Thuisbezorgd.nl team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate trading and forecasting processes, as well as driving performance management. You will collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to gather data, drive initiatives, and ensure the development of forecasting and trading strategies, considering past trading performance and future projections. This is a unique opportunity to execute the strategy of the leading food delivery company in the Netherlands, working closely with the Management Team.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Operational Teams in Logistics and Customer Services teams to create a unified trading plan, ensuring initiatives are sized based on their contribution to budget and ROI.
• Work closely with the Finance team, to support financial processes and manage trading forecasts.
• Lead the execution of the trading plan through collaboration with other departments to ensure that we are meeting objectives.
• Lead cross-functional weekly trading meetings with senior stakeholders, providing updates on current trading performance and forecasted outcomes. Implement action plans.
• Analyse order trends, pricing and customer behaviour to identify opportunities and drive decision making, optimise trading performance and increase revenue. Deep dive to find the correct root-causes and develop mitigating actions. Conduct evaluations of different value offers.
• Measure the business impact of initiatives, identify trading levers, evaluate their effectiveness, and estimate ROI for future strategies.
• Lead Thuisbezorgd.nl trading forecast, being responsible for its impact on the business planning from a combined Commercial, Financial and Operational perspective.

What will you bring to the table?

• Extensive experience in commercial analysis, preferably in an e-commerce, supply chain or trading environment;
• Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel, Google Sheets and SQL (preferably BigQuery) and reporting tools (preferably Tableau);
• Experience in business planning and financial forecasting to support decision-making is a plus;
• Been involved in regular trading meetings (e.g. WBRs, MBRs, QBRs, preferably having led these meetings);
• Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience working cross-functionally, fostering a collaborative work environment and able to deliver through others;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to leverage storytelling to transform data insights into meaningful narratives;
