About this role

The Team Lead for Country Analytics will be responsible for overseeing a team of analytics engineers focused on delivering data products and solutions to support our 15 country analytics teams. This role involves managing stakeholder relationships, leading data projects, and driving the design of scalable data architectures. The ideal candidate will combine strong business acumen, technical expertise, and excellent communication and leadership skills to foster collaboration and deliver impactful results.

These are some of the key ingredients for the role:

• Lead and manage a team of analytics engineers, providing guidance on project priorities, technical challenges, and professional development.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the countries to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Manage the community of Country Analysts, facilitating knowledge sharing, and adoption of global best practices.
• Design and implement global data tools, integrating multiple sources to support data analysis, reporting, and decision-making.
• Drive implementation of global programs and migrations.
• Manage project timelines and resources, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality data solutions.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, ensuring clear communication between engineering, sales, and partner teams.

What will you bring to the table?

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field, with strong experience in data engineering/analysis experience, including experience in a leadership role.
• Proven ability to manage and mentor teams, ensuring high performance and fostering continuous improvement.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, data analytics tools like Tableau, and experience translating stakeholder needs into data-driven solutions.
• Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical approaches and actionable insights.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and prioritize multiple deadlines.
• Proactive, accountable, and curious, with a logical approach to analyzing data and uncovering insights.
• Experience presenting analysis to executives, especially in E-Commerce or consulting, is an advantage.
