PMO Officer

Within the Global Supply Chain we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced PMO officer/Jr. Change and Comms manager, for our key transformative initiative: project Anura. Within our Global Supply Chain strategy we are on a journey to become the number 1 Global Dairy Supply Chain driving cost, cash and service. Under Project Anura we are implementing a new way of working in our Global Supply Chain (both Demand, Supply and S&OP planning) by introducing a next generation planning tool from OMP. Our aim is to move from a short term static sequential planning to a synchronized, data driven planning with E2E visibility across our Supply Chain both on short and longer term horizon.

The PMO Officer/Jr. Change and Comms manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining project management standards, procedures, and best practices across the teams, ensuring that the program is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The PMO Officer/Jr. Change and Comms Manager will work closely with the Program Manager, Change Manager, Deployment Leads, IT leads and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, optimize project schedules, and manage project documentation and status reporting. On top of this he or she also supports the Change Manager in the operational tasks of change and comms activities like organization/execution of training, lessons learned sessions, pulse checks, organization readiness and value tracking surveys.

What we ask

  • Bachelor degree in project management, business administration, (supply chain) management, change management or related field
  • Experience in project management, preferably in implementation management and/or commissioning projects
  • Strong understanding of the (RFC) project management principles, methodologies, and tools or the eagerness of learning this quickly
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills (English must, Dutch optional)
  • Strong in creating a clear storyline in both words and visuals
  • Experience in Supply Chain planning environment and understanding the (customer) supply chain within RFC is a plus
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Sharepoint), knowledge of project management software, such as Microsoft Project, Principal Toolbox or similar tools is a plus
  • Pro-active/action oriented, self-starter, enjoys being of service
  • Pragmatic and flexible, can do mentality
  • High sense of responsibility and accountability
  • Being able to work in a multi-cultural, dynamic environment, at all levels and in cross-functional teams

Vacancy description

  • In your role, you will spend your time for 100% as PMO Officer/Jr. Change and Comms manager dedicated to the program to implement the tooling and ways of working in our global Supply Chain organization.
  • Currently the project is in the phase of deploying the Demand Planning module of OMP as per February 2024
  • In September 2023 we have started the design activities for the Supply Planning/S&OP module and will finalize this in 2025.
  • In this project you will work closely together with the total core project team consisting of experts from the Planning Excellence, IT project management and business analysts, deployment leads, change manager and business stakeholders.
  • As PMO/Jr. Change and Comms Manager you are the linking pin between the deployment teams, design teams and core project team. You support the Deployment Leads throughout the deployments in accordance with our set deployment methodology. You ensure good quality and documentation at each stage for sign off.
  • You support/maintain and improve project templates available as part of our deployment methodology, including project deployment plans, schedules, budgets, and risk management plans.
  • You ensure that project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date, and that all stakeholders have access to the required information.
  • You support and drive our weekly status/project management meeting structure including preparation/checking completeness of status from the different workstreams, following up the action list with the responsible owners.
  • Initiate and facilitate project analytics to evaluate project performance. Develop and implement insights, identify deviations, liaise with project management on actions, and develop best practices to improve project delivery.
  • Facilitate project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and optimize project delivery.
  • Support program management in the development and maintenance of value tracking, budgets and forecasts.
  • Coordination of facilities/logistics for project meetings/workshops on request of members of the team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • On top of that you support the Change manager in executing the various change and communication deliverables both on program and deployment level.
