What we ask

• Practical thinker: complex legal issues? No problem! you're great at turning them into real-world solutions
• Go-getter: a self-starter who can map out what's needed, and then make it happen
• Privacy pro: deep knowledge of regulations such as GDPR, bonus points if you have a Dutch legal background and certifications like CIPP/E and/or CPM. We are looking for a legal Privacy expert with a minimum of 5 years experience in the legal Privacy area
• Digital savvy: you know your stuff when it comes to AI, cookies and similar technologies
• Global perspective: a connector who loves to work with and navigate diverse teams and cultures

What we offer

• Full time position (38 hours per week) within the Global Legal, Ethics & Compliance corporate function
• Based in Amersfoort, a member of the Privacy team reporting to the Global Ethics & Compliance Director
• Global scope working closely with HR and Marketing teams at both the Business Group and OpCo level as well as with the Corporate Functions of IT, Cybersecurity and Procurement
• We embrace a hybrid way of working so you'll enjoy plenty of flexibility to work from home or at the office, whatever works best for you
• Opportunities to grow within the Legal, Ethics & Compliance function and/or within related functions with which the team works closely such as IT

Vacancy description

A global role, working as the "go-to" legal expert for our Local Privacy Officers as well as our HR and Marketing colleagues worldwide, providing privacy and data protection advice and guidance.

Working closely together with corporate and local business teams to embed privacy principles into everyday HR and Marketing processes and ways of working

Implementing regular connects, training and support for the global Local Privacy Officer community

Mapping how we use personal data globally and ensuring each process is documented and understood. Co-owning (with the Global Privacy Manager) our Register of Processing Activities.

Leading our Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)

Crafting and updating global Privacy and Data Protection standards, guidelines and policies. Supporting the OpCos in implementing new policies and legislation

Creating, personalizing and conducting interactive and fun Privacy and Data Protection trainings to different functions and teams across our organization
