Our Graduate Legal Counsel will collaborate with our central business teams in the Netherlands by providing expert legal advice and handling compliance matters as they arise. How you’ll help us.

Based out of our EMEA Headquarters, just outside of Amsterdam, Netherlands and reporting to the Legal and Compliance Manager, as part of the role, you’ll:

• Support the business by handling legal matters such as responding to requests, drafting, negotiating and reviewing agreements, legal documents, letters, handle terminations.
• Assist with practical tasks such as the signature process and creating summaries.
• Work with the team and outside counsel to assess legal risks, implement procedures and guidelines and - where necessary - point projects in the right direction.
• Collaborate with other departments such as Finance, Commercial, Marketing, Operations and HR on legal matters.
• Focus on areas including commercial contracts, corporate law, consumer law, e-commerce/IT, privacy, real estate, competition law, and KYC matters.

More about you.

• Qualified lawyer, ideally within an EU jurisdiction.
• Minimum 6 months and up to 3 years of work experience, preferably as in-house counsel within the retail and/or sports industry in an international context.
• Fluent in English, with proficiency in another EU language preferred.
• Ability to think and act swiftly, offering sharp, concise legal advice within the dynamic sports and retail sector.
• A keen understanding of or willingness to learn about global business practices.
