Introduction to the job

The sector Planning and Delivery (P&D) combines all planning activities across ASML, bringing demand and supply perspectives closer together. Given the expected growth in the semiconductor market and the volatility in the growth path, the quality of planning for ASML and its supply chain becomes more and more important.

Within P&D the strategic capacity preparation team is setup to:

  • Give a deep understanding of the long-term bottlenecks in the supply chain (3 – 10y)
  • Provide transparency on risk-reward trade-offs and drive capacity investment decisions
  • Set clear capacity requirements for the sectors, work with sectors to devise solution scenarios, execution of capacity buildup remaining the accountability of the sectors
  • Facilitate the Capability Meeting which brings together product development and operations

Role and responsibilities

We are looking for an expert that facilitates and drives high quality insights for decision making in the capability meeting. You drive the improvement portfolio of the strategic capacity preparation team. You are able to guide and challenge senior management to make the right decisions with the results of your insights.

  • Prepare parts of the capability meeting, ensuring the right content is available in time and the right alignment meetings are planned and held
  • Prepare and present high quality quantitative analysis and qualitative insights on strategic capacity for a business line, based on the investigations of the separate supply chains that are executed by other colleagues in the strategic capacity preparation team
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders in the strategic planning processes
  • Drive the improvement portfolio of the strategic capacity preparation team

Education and experience

  • Master or Bachelor degree preferably with an affinity with finance or economics.
  • >5 years’ experience in (financial) modeling of complex business issues
  • >5 years’ experience in communicating results to senior management and with facilitating and driving key decisions in operations, product portfolio management or supply chain management

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
