RPA & Low-Code Engineer

We work so-called ‘T-shaped,’ so that is why everyone will assume the title of RPA & Low-Code Engineer, but it could be that naturally you focus more on business analysis while other candidates fully work on the engineering work. You & Your Position

You will work in a diverse and dynamic team with the latest technologies that translate work in a way that a robot can take over. You dare to go against the grain and take Rabobank to 'The Next Level'. A responsibility with impact, which you shape as a Robotics Engineer where you work at the intersection of Business and IT. Your core task is to build automation solutions for various operational domains within Rabobank. You enjoy creating new solutions together with the business stakeholders. You like developing high-volume enterprise-wide applications and like to learn new technologies. You do not hesitate to challenge the business when needed and provide them with solutions they haven’t thought of.

We position these robots within the departments as "virtual colleagues," which enable us to make our organization more efficient for the short or long term, but also to relieve our colleagues of repetitive and sometimes frustrating work. This is how the Robotics team makes the work of our colleagues within the bank more fun!

You will be applying for one of our Engineering teams. Every team consists of 5-8 team members and is focused on a particular domain such as Customer Care (RKS), Fighting Economical Crime (FEC) or Digital Customer Processes (DCP). The engineers in the teams are T-shaped and have very different backgrounds but a lot of experience with the applications and robots that are built and managed by the team. They like to work together on projects collectively and individually where needed. The teams mainly work from home and come to the office at least once a week to work together, although you are free to come to the office more frequently.

• You support various Business domains within the entire Rabobank in building and managing robots.
• You will have access to the latest technological developments in the field of Robotics Software.
• You are also able to make an active organizational contribution to the continuous improvement of the Center of Excellence.
• As an Engineer, you continuously add new functionalities and new technologies (e.g., Azure functions) to our various solutions via robots, Powerapps, and typescript apps.

• Communication and coordination with various parties (business) is a large part of the work.
• Robotics is growing strongly, so it is crucial that you are able to reflect and adapt quickly. We value personal growth very much, so there will be plenty of opportunities to grow in this role, and since we are growing as a department, there will also be opportunities found there, but the initiative for this lies with yourself.

Collaboration is an important topic within our team. With each other, we join forces to build robots that enable our organization to create even more added value for the bank and thus be able to serve our customers even better. The team was founded 7 years ago, and we have grown rapidly over the years and are still expanding. We have grown into a department of around 100 colleagues. At this point, we are looking for candidates with experience in RPA; however, we have our own Robotics Academy to teach you all that is needed to start building as an Engineer within Rabobank.

You & Your Talent

Customer focus, collaboration, analysis, and enthusing others are indispensable for this position as a Robotics Engineer. In addition, it is important that you recognize everything from the checklist below:

• HBO or University working and thinking level.
• Well-versed in English and Dutch is a pre.
• At least 3 years of working experience, preferably in the area of app development.
• A big plus if you have experience with Kofax RPA or UiPath.
• A big plus if you have experience with PowerApps/Logic apps/app development.
• Knowledge of Typescript/Java/Javascript is a pre.
• Experience with new technologies; it is an advantage if you master a programming language.
• Flexibility in attitude and behaviour, will step up in the face of adversity.
• You like change, puzzling, and can work well in a dynamic environment.
• Collaboration and communication skills are important.
• Business analysis and process analysis skills are a plus.
• Taking personal responsibility and taking initiative is important.
• Strong will to learn in a rapidly evolving technical environment.
