As our content specialist, you will develop, manage, and optimise content for online and offline channels. Your goal is to effectively communicate our brand, engage internal and external audiences, and support our strategic goals. You will work closely with the enthusiastic colleagues of the Communication team to create and execute a content calendar aligned with our organisational objectives and campaigns.

Your responsibilities

In this role you will write, edit, and proofread content for websites, magazines, press releases, social media, and other materials. You ensure that the brand tone of voice is consistent across all content and that materials are developed in line with our brand guidelines.

You create multimedia content like video scripts and infographics in collaboration with the team and our suppliers and you ensure that our website content is SEO-friendly and update the existing content to improve its relevance.

Your responsibilities also include:

  • Managing the coordination and acting as the lead editor of the internal personnel magazine.
  • Renewing the concept and leading the production of the external digital client magazine.
  • Collaborating with communication advisors to develop content and use existing content to generate free publicity.
  • Exploring the possibilities of podcasts.
  • Managing and briefing external suppliers, such as design agencies, photographers and copywriters.

You will join our ambitious team of communication professionals. Internal, external and online communication: everyone has their own expertise. At the same time, we closely work together in a dynamic and international environment, where you are given a lot of responsibility and freedom to proactively fulfil your role. You report to the manager online communications.

Job requirements

  • You have at least 3 years' work experience as a content creator or similar position, preferably with a bachelor's degree in the field of communications, journalism and/or marketing;
  • You can manage content calendars, deadlines, and priorities to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content;
  • You have the ability to translate complex technical information into engaging content for various audiences;
  • You have excellent writing and proofreading skills in Dutch and English.
  • You have an understanding of SEO principles and content optimisation techniques and know your way around a CMS and at social media platforms.
  • You have a proactive, pragmatic, and collaborative mindset, with the ability to work with various teams and departments.
  • It is important that you are able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
