Logistics Intern

As our Logistics Intern, you will get the opportunity to partner across all departments within Operations and support the execution and monitoring of ASICS Europe's inbound and outbound logistics processes. You will ensure that product flows (sea/air/road) run efficiently and effectively and are backed up with documentation. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in analysing Logistics data and preparing reports to support decision-making.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in broad logistics operations, contributing to processes and projects and ensure efficiency in product flows.

How you’ll help us.

Based at our EMEA Headquarters, just outside of Amsterdam, Netherlands, you will be reporting to the Logistics Manager, and as part of the role, you’ll:

• Manage the inbound flow of goods from factories to our Distribution Centre Network.
• Support in developing and maintaining carrier Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), shipping and loading instructions.
• Prepare, revamp and maintain reports, analysing inbound and outbound logistics data to support business decision-making.
• Review and ensure all process-related manuals and documentation are set up and up to date.
• Develop and maintain KPIs and relevant management reports.

More about you.

• Having prior knowledge of logistics processes is a plus.
• Competent user of Microsoft Office programmes.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Experience with retail mathematics, financial planning and inventory planning.
• You are eligible for an internship in the Netherlands, which means that you are currently enrolled and will be for the entire duration of the internship in a Dutch educational institution, or you are a European citizen enrolled at a university for the entire duration of the internship.
