Responsibilities:

  • Record, track, and ultimately achieve quarterly targets as set by the business, documenting progress through weekly status updates
  • Work with large data sets to produce regular reports on partner activity, including weekly/monthly sales and margin reports, regular partner satisfaction surveys, and ad hoc analyses as needed
  • Conduct business meetings and Quarterly Business Reviews by attending calls, tradeshows, partner briefings, and individual account visits to review commercial performance, address any points of concern and explore future opportunities.
  • Execute commercial plans to ensure an outstanding Activities portfolio for Expedia customers and improve revenue for the company
  • Work directly within the Activities line of business to increase conversion rates, revenue and traveller happiness by recommending and prioritizing areas for optimization
  • Demonstrate a detailed understanding of how and where we sell activities to customers on Expedia channels including the associated limitations and opportunities
  • Regularly audit performance and system reporting to validate the account portfolio is in an optimum state
  • Conduct competitor benchmarking and analyse the evolving demand of Expedia customers
  • Resolve day-to-day problems such as accounting, invoicing, content changes and customer service issues by following agreed processes
  • Help to identify, prioritize, and drive operational improvements, such as streamlined redemption and accounting processes
  • Support & be able to clearly communicate the approved activities strategy to the wider team
  • Competently run projects when required, clearly communicating progress and risk
  • Lead multiple competing and shifting priorities across the portfolio of existing and potential business
  • Embrace a one-team spirit by working collaboratively in a team environment, consulting and influencing with individuals at all levels, to achieve business outcomes
  • Evangelize the activities business to internal and external stakeholders by demonstrating in-depth knowledge of both internal process & industry acumen
  • Provide ad-hoc support to leadership on presentations, reports, and projects as needed

Requirement/qualifications:
  • 2+ years working in an Account Management role or equivalent.
  • Travel industry experience preferred
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing relationships, including negotiating agreements.
  • Track record of achieving quantitative business targets
  • Ability to identify, prioritize, and drive improvements in operational processes and supporting technology.
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
