PROCUREMENT CATEGORY MANAGER - Marketing & Sales

What you'll do

In this role you will manage the procurement activities for the relevant category/sub-category(ies) within your Cluster, following Global Category strategies and identified alternatives if required.

This role has the following main dimensions:
  • Manage the initiatives within the Cluster for identified sub-categories
  • Participate in financial planning and deliver benefits/value within the perimeter of action
  • Drive cost optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Apply Category Management principles, and coordinate implementation plans as per Cluster directions
  • Ensure business connectivity and foster collaborative business partnerships with specific stakeholders
  • Manage Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) in full coordination with Cluster and Category directions
  • Role model in compliance and ethics
  • Act as Global Indirect Procurement ambassadors in the home location and cluster

The team

You’ll be part of a team of seven high-performing and friendly employees who have responsibility for the UK’s & Cluster procurement activities, reporting to Cluster Category Manager - M&S.

The skills you'll need

  • University degree, preferably in Finance/ Supply Chain / Procurement
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in similar environment in a multinational company
  • Fluent English, other languages are an asset
  • Strategic thinking.
  • Analytical skills
  • Interpersonal skills, engagement of internal and external parties
  • Business environment knowledge
  • Decision-making and project management
  • MS Office, SAP

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £45.700 - 62.700 per annum dependent on experience and a car allowance of £7,611 per annum.
