About the Role

Our Group Commercial team is looking for an International Comms Excellence Manager. In this role, you will work closely with the Group (digital) Media managers, Group Sr. Comms & Activation managers for Mentos and Chupa Chups, the Group Brand Teams, and the local Operating Companies. You will report to the Global Media, Digital Marketing & eCommerce Director.

Together with the Sr. Comms & Activation managers for Mentos and Chupa Chups, you’ll drive Creative Excellence principles for PVM, build the necessary Comms Capabilities across Group & OCs, and drive the Comms Innovation agenda. You will support brand teams run digital marketing projects and support global campaign development by Group marketing teams for our loved global brands (except Mentos and Chupa Chups), like Alpenliebe, Hollywood, Trident, Fruittella, Stimorol, and Smint/Frisk. To do this successfully, you will work in close partnership with many stakeholders across Group Marketing and OCs, and partner up with strategic media and creative partners.

  • Formulate PVM's Comms Principles and define Best Practices by analyzing PVM and competitor comms performance across categories and markets (e.g., DOSE, competitive tracking, comms effectiveness learnings).
  • Own & optimize Standardized Comms Ways of Working, frameworks, and playbooks (e.g., pre-testing, briefing, creative assessment).
  • Build Comms Capabilities, share best practices & competitor insights, and feed our Group and OC’s marketing teams with inspiration by leading the Media & Digital Academy (MDA). Organize trainings and inspiration sessions with external partners.
  • You are on top of relevant trends in advertising and (digital) media, driving PVM's Comms Innovation through outside-in inspiration. You are the key creative contact for publishers/agencies like Google, Meta, Tiktok, and gaming publishers and agencies & AI partners. As a result, you initiate and develop innovative brand advertising that brings PvM to the cutting edge of (digital) marketing.
  • Run global digital marketing projects (e.g., CX optimizations, digital activations, legal compliancy).
  • Own Digital Comms Tools for our global brand websites (Sanity.io CMS), global campaign’s localization (StoryteQ), self-service pre-testing (CreativeX, Brainsuite), assets storage (DAM) and organize trainings/access/updates accordingly.
  • Support local teams when they need global eyes and knowledge (e.g., gaming, influencer marketing, partnerships, AI).
  • Sparring partner and support for Group Sr. Marketing Comms & Activation managers, Brand teams, and OCs.

What Are We Looking For

  • Bachelor in Marketing or business administration.
  • 4-7 years of relevant digital marketing experience and comms or campaign development within a leading brand advertiser, retailer or (digital) media agency organization.
  • Excellent communication & persuasion skills – able to lead and steer projects & stakeholders.
  • Strong experience in and affinity with digital excellence (including digital ecosystem & data).
  • Detailed knowledge of web analytics & channel management (FB business manager, Google Marketing platform, social listening, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Pre: proven experience in rapid experimentation and growth marketing.
  • Brand management and/or FMCG experience is preferred (client or agency side).
  • Strong capabilities to set vision for PvM digital, comms & innovation roadmap.
  • Is independent, has a strategic mindset and cultivates inspiration and creativity.
  • Fluent in English, able to effectively work in a culturally diverse team, international experience is a pro.
