What will you be doing?
As our Test & Integration Engineer for AV solutions, you will be tasked with defining software models that emulate hardware solutions and implementing automated test frameworks to facilitate efficient and comprehensive testing of software releases. You will collaborate closely with our development and digital transformation teams to integrate these emulated hardware models into automated testing frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using the latest tools such as GherKin, or similar.
- Define and co-develop precise software models that emulate hardware components and systems together with the Emulation and Simulation development team.
- Develop and implement strategies for digitizing test processes and procedures.
- Design and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate digital testing solutions.
- Analyze and optimize existing test processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of digital test data.
- Monitor and report on the performance of digital testing tools and systems.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware emulation and automated testing, providing comprehensive reports and recommendations.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of emulation models, test plans, and test results.
- Provide detailed test results and constructive feedback to developers to facilitate continuous improvement and ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in test digitization technologies.
What do we ask from you?
- Bachelor’s/master’s in engineering.
- 3+ years in testing, test automation, integration.
- Knowledge of test frameworks, controls engineering, and cloud-based deployment (Azure, Kubernetes).
- ISTQB Foundation or equivalent (preferred).
- Experience with JIRA, CI/CD, and configuration management.
- Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools.
- Familiarity with digital transformation and process optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
What we offer
This position offers a competitive salary range of € 4.056 to € 5.447 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
