Engineer! As a QA Manual Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring defects, ensuring timely resolutions, and maintaining communication with development teams. Joining Grip as our QA Manual Engineer means you’ll no longer work on boring stuff like standard forms, labels, or bottoms, but on our exciting product where we combine technology with 3D.

What’s Grip?

GRIP, the software branch of INDG, is an end-to-end content automation platform that enables every marketer to generate endless, relevant, and on-brand content variations. Combining CGI, rule-based generative AI, and post-production, GRIP transforms master ad creatives into infinite variations, empowering brands to scale content production globally without compromising quality or brand consistency.

What will you do?

  • Thoroughly understand project specifications, designs, and requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Create, maintain, and support detailed test documentation including test plans, suites, cases, checklists, and test data.
  • Conduct detailed manual functional and non-functional testing to identify potential issues.
  • Efficiently manage and monitor defects, ensuring timely resolutions and maintaining communication with development teams.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements in the testing lifecycle and implement effective solutions.
  • Work closely with development, design, and product management teams in an Agile manner to ensure software functionality aligns with user requirements and is delivered within project timelines.

Would be amazing if you have:

  • Minimum of 3 years in a similar role, with a strong background in manual testing environments.
  • In-depth understanding of test theory, SDLC, and strong capabilities in test design and documentation.
  • Good understanding of REST APIs and GraphQL. Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman and Swagger.
  • Basic understanding of SQL queries to interact with databases.
  • Extensive experience in UI testing, particularly for web applications. Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and proficiency in using Chrome developer tools.
  • Proficiency with project management and bug/issue tracking systems like Jira, TestRail, or Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, at least at the upper intermediate B2 level.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Azure Pipelines, or Jenkins.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS enhances candidacy.
  • Experience with performance testing tools like Jmeter, Gatling, or any other is a plus.
