The Internship

Do you want to work in a fast-paced, fun & diverse team? GCU is responsible for building Marketing & Commerce Capabilities across the HEINEKEN world. Working closely with key Markets, Regional Teams, and Global Commerce, the GCU supports all of our commerce colleagues to drive superior balanced growth.

The successful candidate will primarily support across the Creativity workstream. Focus areas will include working closely with third-party agencies to embed best practice, develop & roll out of capability building programs, and drive inspirational content across the organization.

In addition, the candidate will support across the GCU team, opening up learning opportunities across Brand Building, Capability deployment, and events.

The Department

GCU: Global Commerce University is a fast-paced, high-energy team responsible for supporting our Markets in all Commerce capabilities. The team interacts with many departments and stakeholders and offers a huge opportunity to learn more about the wider HEINEKEN business and its portfolio of amazing brands.

The Terms of Employment

  • Your starting date is 1 February 2025
  • The internship is full-time
  • The duration of the internship is 6 months (in consultation with your internship supervisor)
  • It is a practice-oriented internship
  • During your internship, you have the flexibility to work in a hybrid setup
  • You will receive an internship fee of €650 gross per month based on 40 hours per week
  • You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on full-time)
  • If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed

  • Knowledge of Consumer Marketing and/or Brand Development
  • Excellent communication style (fluent in English)

Conditions of HEINEKEN

  1. You are enrolled at an educational institution.
  2. Living in the Netherlands during the internship (HEINEKEN does not facilitate housing).

In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution, from which we receive proof of enrollment for the current academic year. In the case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
