The Global Learning Experience Team is a brand new team within the Global Talent and Leadership Team at HEINEKEN. Our team is dedicated to fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. Our Learning Experience team plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of learning across our global business. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team and support our initiatives.

Your responsibilites will be varied, and we hope to provide a worthwhile and rich experience for you, so you might find yourself working on the following items:

  • Assist in the coordination and administration of a brand new learning system that is being introduced across the business.
  • Manage and update learning management systems (LMS) with course materials, and get experience of designing for online learning.
  • Support the design, creation and distribution of training materials, including presentations, webinars and online resources.
  • Monitor and track learning KPIs.
  • Assist in analyzing training data and preparing reports to evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives.
  • Respond to inquiries from employees regarding learning platforms, courses, and other related matters.
  • Collaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives to enhance the learning experience.

Of course, not everyday will be the same, and you might be supporting lots of different workstreams across your internship. Importantly, you will work with an international team of 4 Learning professionals, who are keen to share knowledge and can offer a supportive environment, where you can try new things, gain experience and find out what the world of work is like within our function.

Ideally, we are looking for someone with the following skills or willing to develop these skills:

  1. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain attention to detail.
  2. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and learning management systems (LMS).
  3. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
  4. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work well in a team, build relationships, and provide excellent customer service.
  5. Adaptability: Flexibility to handle changing priorities and new challenges in a dynamic environment.
  6. Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in managing training schedules, materials, and participant information.
  7. Project Management: Basic understanding of project management principles to assist in coordinating training programs.
  8. Enthusiasm for Learning: A genuine interest in learning and development, and a proactive approach to personal and professional growth.

The terms of employment:

  • Your starting date is ideally around January/ start February 2025
  • The internship is fulltime (in consultation also 4 days a week possible)
  • The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months (in consultation with your internship supervisor)
  • You are registered at an educational institution
  • It is a practice-oriented internship
  • You will be based in Amsterdam
  • During your internship, you have the flexibility to work from home/ hybrid
  • You will receive an internship fee of €650 gross pm based on 40 hours per week
  • You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on 40 hours per week)
  • If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed

The start of your internship:

Together with a diverse group of interns from different departments you will start your internship at HEINEKEN. Together you will be introduced to the organization. Furthermore, you can organize fun activities with your fellow interns.
