The IT department in Amsterdam is seeking a highly motivated and outstanding Technical Application Manager, who has the ambition to further drive digital services within Loyens & Loeff.

As a Technical Application Manager, you will be part of a team responsible for managing the business applications of Loyens & Loeff. You will work within the SCRUM framework alongside multidisciplinary colleagues.

The role includes support for business applications and data warehouse. Experience with financial systems would be advantageous but not a requirement, as would understanding business intelligence concepts. This is a great opportunity to join an IT department that uses the latest cloud-based technology, develop skills within this area, and have input into the direction the technology is utilized within the department.

As Technical Application Manager you will have the following responsibilities:

  • 3rd line application support for applications in Loyens & Loeff
  • Involvement in projects
  • Monitoring the availability of applications and databases
  • Technical maintenance (adapting/correcting/improving non-functionals e.g., performance)
  • Application Servers Architecture

This vacancy is something for you because you have/are:

  • 5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience as a Technical Application Manager
  • Excellent understanding of English and Dutch language
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Cloud environment, for example, MS SQL Server 2014+, SSRS/SSAS/SSIS, Azure servers and services
  • Knowledge from Business Intelligence, Scrum, and Agile
