Digital Transformation Internship at IKEA

Are you ready to be at the forefront of our digital transformation journey? Join us in a dynamic internship where you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our organization by leveraging cutting-edge digital tools and fostering a culture of innovation.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Support local stakeholders with the use of new digital tools
  • Document best practices and deliver training to drive adoption of the tools
  • Report on the successes and progress of our digital transformation
  • Define routines to interact with local markets around the deployment and adoption of specific new tools
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, IT, Sales, eCommerce, Logistics & Fulfillment, Food, Central) to design and provide training and support
  • Draft monthly communications materials for the international leadership team on key milestones and successes
  • Own end-user feedback and formulate action plans to continue to drive change

Who You Are:
  • You are nearing the end of your bachelor's degree or pursuing your master’s degree.
  • As a person, you are passionate about the possibilities of digital, and how they can improve the everyday life of many people. You appreciate the mix of strategic thinking and humanistic footprint that change requires.
  • You are simplicity oriented, able to take complex information and distil it into concrete, clear and simple messages for various internal audiences.
  • You are a self-starter, structured and organized; you get energized by working both independently and in a team.
  • You enjoy building bridges among people, and the unknown is an exciting opportunity.
  • Last but not least, you share and live the IKEA culture and values.
What Else is Important:

  • In addition to all the knowledge and experience, you gain with us, you will receive a monthly internship allowance of €340 (based on 36 hours).
  • This internship starts from early February for 5-6 months.
  • Proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
