The Internship

Are you a (graduate) student passionate about marketing and looking for an experience in an international environment?

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our Heineken Experience Sales & Marketing team as a Digital and Creative Marketing Intern. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media, and activations fields. The intern will work closely with the Digital Marketing Specialist and the Social Media Specialist & Creative. You will assist the team in three different areas:

Digital marketing:
  • Digital analytics and reporting: Elaboration of weekly and monthly reports, analyzing data from all the Heineken Experience channels (website, social media, customer reviews).
  • Digital campaigns: Assist in the development of digital campaigns from strategy and ideation to production and activation.
Social media:
  • Content planning: Assist in planning the social media content calendar, organizing and scheduling the content for various social media platforms and ensuring a consistent and strategic approach to engage the audience effectively.
  • Content Curation & Filming: You’ll play a key role in collaborating with our creative agency to identify and select trendy, brand-aligned content for the Heineken Experience. This includes researching social media platforms for the latest trends, curating engaging ideas, and supporting the team during filming to bring these concepts to life.
Activations:
  • Activations: You will assist in planning and executing guest activations at the Heineken Experience. This involves brainstorming ideas, coordinating logistics, and ensuring a smooth execution of the activations.
  • Internal Events: You will also assist in organizing internal events such as the HEX Summer Party. This could involve coordinating venues, decorations, entertainment, and other logistical aspects to create enjoyable experiences for employees.

The Department

The Heineken Experience is a brand experience located in the first built Heineken brewery in the heart of Amsterdam. We are an international, dynamic, and enthusiastic team aiming to promote the Heineken Experience to enhance and amplify the influence and impact of the Heineken® brand.

The Terms of Employment

Your starting date is 1 February 2025.

  • The internship is full-time (40h/week).
  • The duration of the internship is 6 months.
  • You will be based in Amsterdam.
  • You will receive an internship fee of €650 (wo & hbo) gross per month based on full-time.
  • You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on full-time).
  • If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed.

Please note that all interns must be enrolled at an educational institution. In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution. In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU. You will need to provide proof of enrollment with your application. Applications without this will not be considered.
