NOTE: We are committed to creating an inclusive environment and welcome applications from all qualified candidates, regardless of background, identity, or experience.

HERE IS WHAT WE'LL DO TOGETHER:

We are seeking a highly motivated and AI-focused intern to support the G-STAR Artificial Intelligence journey. Reporting directly to the New Tech Lead, the intern will assist in advancing AI integration projects across various aspects of the company. This role is perfect for a student who is eager to dive deep into AI applications within the fashion industry and corporate organization and who wants to both learn but also make an impact!

Please be aware that this internship is not solely technical but also incorporates an educational aspect. The position involves explaining and educating non-technical colleagues about the possibilities and benefits of using AI.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support AI Integration Projects: Assist in the implementation and refinement of AI tools (MS Copilot, MS Azure) and AI agents designed to enhance design processes, customer experiences and internal operations.
  • Research and Development: Conduct thorough research on emerging AI trends and technologies in the fashion industry and present actionable insights.
  • Workshop Coordination: Help organize and coordinate AI-focused workshops, prepare educational materials, and gather participant feedback to foster company-wide tech adoption.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Assist in creating detailed documentation and performance analysis for ongoing AI projects.
  • Project Management Support: Provide administrative and project management support to ensure that AI project milestones are achieved on time.

HERES WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
  • A strong interest in AI applications and their transformative potential in business environments.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
  • Previous internship experience in AI projects or related fields is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Previous experience using ChatGPT, MS Copilot, MS Azure, Stable Diffusion and other AI tools is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Excellent English writing and speaking skills.
  • You are available full-time for a period of 6 months starting in February 2025.
  • You are enrolled at a university or college in the Netherlands or EU, during the whole length of the internship. Unfortunately, we cannot provide immigration support for internships at this time.
  • If you are a non-EU student in The Netherlands, you are in possession of a mandatory internship assignment.
  • You are already living in the Netherlands and are in the possession of a BSN, or in a process of getting one.

HERE'S WHAT WE BRING TO THE TABLE:

In addition to a €600 monthly allowance for your internship, working at G-STAR brings so many perks and exciting opportunities, we don’t know where to begin… How about:

  • An awesome and diverse team that collaborates to inspire
  • A work environment that offers room for fun, inspiration and innovation
  • A clothing budget of €400 to buy the latest G-STAR items!
  • To keep up the greatness we also offer you a healthy, fresh, and delicious lunch in our HQ in Amsterdam.
  • If you don’t have an OV student travel card, we will cover your travel expenses.
  • You will also enjoy two paid days of leave per month!

WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT?

  • During this job application, we will ask you to play a couple of short neuroscientific games. These games provide you with the opportunity to showcase your potential, talents, and personality.
  • As a result, we can ensure equal opportunities for everyone who applies, by evaluating everyone based on objective, scientifically proven insights rather than gut feeling.
  • As we value personal growth and transparency, we will make sure you receive your results on the games as well.
  • When we hopefully find what we are looking for, we will get in touch with you and if it’s a good fit, we’ll plan our first interview.
  • When we’re ready to commit to each other, we’ll finalize the terms we’ve discussed and we’ll explain to you how to order your first pair of jeans from the G-STAR employee store.

Good luck!
