Join Rabobank as a Technology Business Management (TBM) Analyst

You will be working in a team supporting the entire IT value chain by delivering service-based financial insights and management support. As a member of the Tech Support Office (TSO) team in Engineering & Enterprise Tech, you will be part of an experienced team providing crucial information for the Innovation & Technology Office (CITO). With the increased digitalization of Rabobank services, high-quality insights into our IT investments are more important than ever.

Your Role

Your role will be to combine your knowledge of technology and IT environment with implementing and improving our IT service-based cost modeling. You will enable technological capabilities, ensure data quality, adjust and optimize modeling, and increase the overall maturity of Technology Business Management (TBM) within Rabobank. You will coordinate with stakeholders across the organization, provide financial insights, and build high-quality reports to ensure the cost transparency of IT services.

Making a Difference

  • Import, transform, and rationalize data from systems of record such as General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Time Writing, Configuration Management Database (CMDB), Centralized Application Repository, Asset Manager, etc.
  • Develop and maintain IT service-based cost models, allocating costs to various IT services and understanding the factors influencing these costs.
  • Build reports and dashboards with financial insights using Apptio, Power BI, and Excel.
  • Identify and implement optimization and automation opportunities.
  • Work in an agile manner, ensuring all work is reflected on the Azure DevOps board.
  • Advise teammates on technical matters, implementation details, and issue resolution.

The TSO team collaborates with a wide array of stakeholders, including Financial Control, CITO Domain Support, Vendor Management, Infra Services, Tribe and Tech Leads, FinOps, and more. We bring people, data, and technology together across the IT value chain while empowering the business.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Customer focus, proactivity, and teamwork are essential for the role.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business IT Management, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills for financial modeling and analysis.
  • Advanced skills in data transformation using Microsoft Excel or Power Query.
  • Skills in building dashboards in Power BI.
  • Experience in optimization and automation initiatives (RPA, Power Automate, VBA).
  • Knowledge of programming languages M, DAX, and HTML is a plus.
  • Knowledge and application of relational database concepts.
  • Infrastructure or FinOps background.
  • Experience with Technology Business Management (TBM) or Apptio is a plus.
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry is a plus.
Your Added Value:
  • Experience with financial modeling.
  • Experience in creating high-level architecture, context diagrams, and solution design documents.
  • Experience in migrating to central Data Lake repositories.
  • Experience in working with Azure DevOps pipelines is a plus.
  • Ability to work efficiently across multiple management levels and staff within the organization.
  • Critically analyze and simplify existing modeling frameworks.
  • Understanding IT infrastructure domains including network, storage, servers, virtualization, application development, and cloud services.
  • Knowledge of IT services and financial management processes (e.g., Activity-Based Costing) and best practices such as budgeting, cost allocations, capital and operating expense handling, and program portfolio management.
  • Curious mindset and willingness to share knowledge across the team.
  • Strong ITIL or Service Management background.
  • Experience working with Agile methodology is a plus.
