Financial Controller Central Eastern Europe

Our dynamic FC&A EMEA team, comprising around 140 dedicated professionals, is on an exciting journey toward achieving ambitious goals. We are looking for a talented individual who shares our passion for excellence and innovation to join us. You will lead financial planning, actuals, closing, and reporting for Central Eastern European premix entities, while building strong relationships with key stakeholders. Additionally, you will oversee the “finance actuals and closing services” provided by Financial Shared Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely, complete, accurate, and reliable financial reporting for the allocated entities.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Act as the point of contact for the Finance Business Partner.
  • Direct contact to budget holders to support budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Prepare budget planning figures (e.g., based on top-down guidance).
  • Liaise directly with the internal and external audits, including statutory financial audits.
  • Ensure that agreed services as agreed with Financial Shared Services are delivered up to standard.
  • Support Management Reporting, monthly reporting deck forecast/actuals.
  • Responsible for (and analyses on) inventories, CAPEX, and first line analyses and insights for actuals, forecast and budget and for setting up relevant allocation cycles in SAP.
  • Provide all judgment-based content (e.g., accruals, provisions, corrections) to the shared service center.
  • Provide evidence for the Internal Control Framework.

Compensation and Benefits

Based on your experience, we offer a competitive base salary ranging from €50,490 to €72,128 per year (including holiday allowance and 13th month). Additional benefits include:

You Bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting/financial controlling.
  • Qualification as a Chartered Accountant preferred.
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Accounting/Controlling/Auditing in international organisations.
  • Knowledge of statutory audits, IFRS, and SAP a strong plus.
  • Some experience of working in a shared service environment.
  • An inquisitive, independent and learning mindset.
  • Ability and willingness to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • A self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills and strong ability in stakeholder management.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
