In this role, you will focus on external reporting and the monthly, quarterly, and yearly close of our centralized operations in over 20 countries. The financial control team further includes reporting on direct and indirect tax, as well as internal control and risk management tasks. With your relevant work experience, you can improve finance processes and make an impact in our growing and fast-paced environment. If you think you’d be a good fit, we want to hear from you!

Your Typical Day Includes:

  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly close review tasks for the Suitsupply Group under IFRS standards, focusing on both group-level and entity-specific financials. This includes reviewing long-term commitments and borrowings for the entire group, ensuring compliance with IFRS, and preparing a full review of the balance sheet for specific entities.
  • Participate in process improvement projects such as the update of the accounting manual and master data maintenance.
  • Proactively support and advise in developing and further professionalizing the controlling department.
  • Handle compliance tasks such as reviewing Financial statements and Corporate Income Tax for multiple countries you are responsible for.
  • Coordinate between auditors and tax specialists regarding compliance in the multiple countries you are responsible for, as well as for the consolidated financials.
  • Act as a sparring partner for the management team, finance team, operational departments, and external auditors.

This Job Might Be for You If You Have:

  • Experience with Financial statements and good knowledge of external reporting (Dutch GAAP and IFRS).
  • Approximately 3-4 years of working experience in a similar position or as an auditor with a solid background in Accounting and/or control.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • An analytical mindset, hands-on mentality, result-driven, improvement- and quality-focused attitude.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken).

What Do You Get in Return?

  • Competitive salary, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.
  • The opportunity to build a career within one of the fastest growing companies in fashion.
  • Healthy sponsored lunches at the office.

Founded in Europe in 2000, Suitsupply has grown to over 90 international stores in cities such as Milan, London, Zurich, Amsterdam, New York, Toronto, Shanghai, Singapore and Hong Kong. In addition to our ever-expanding number of brick-and-mortar locations, we maintain a strong online presence, allowing Suitsupply to bring our style and top-tier service to all corners of the globe.

In an industry where fast fashion dominates and craftsmanship is fast disappearing, Suitsupply introduces a better option: one where no attention to detail or quality is ever spared. That’s why we use only the finest Italian fabrics sourced from mills such as Ferla, E. Thomas, Larusmiani and Vitale Barberis Canonico.

We have received widespread accolade from the likes of GQ, Esquire, and, perhaps most notably, a Wall Street Journal blind test that rated a $600 Suitsupply suit in a first-place tie with a $3,600 Armani.

While high-quality suiting at an affordable price point remain at the core of all that we do, our versatile range includes jackets, trousers, outerwear, shoes, accessories and attire available as prêt à porter and made-to-measure.

At Suitsupply, we pride ourselves in taking innovative approaches to traditional problems. This has led to the development of technologies such as our Design Your Own feature, our Garmentor app, and a commitment to in-house tailoring, providing quick alterations while you wait for a perfect fit every time. Each and every sales associate receives in-depth training through our acclaimed Suit School, bringing the unmatched level of passion and expertise that make Suitsupply’s customer service stand out.

The message is clear. We believe that nobody should leave Suitsupply with anything less than a perfect fit. If you’re equally devoted to quality, check out our jobs page for opportunities to join us.
