Are you the multidisciplinary engineer we are looking for, who can guarantee the quality and functionality of our products? And do you enjoy working with baggage handling systems? If so, the position of System Test and Integration Engineer is the ideal next step in your career.

Your department

The Technology department plays a key role in the continuous development of new products and technologies in order to strengthen our position on the market and differentiate our products. Together with your team, stream Transport and Sort Airports, you will be responsible for SW and HW integration and testing. You also contribute to setting up the test competence and implementing improvements.

What will you be doing?

As a Test/Integration Engineer, you are responsible for verifying and validating multidisciplinary products, that include mechanics, electronics and software in the segment of Baggage Handling systems for Airports.

You will be challenged technically and be responsible for minimizing the risk on platform-based deployment. You will write test cases, do functionality checks and perform integration testing. You will implement this in an emulated environment and on the actual system in our Innovation Center, paying careful attention to the analysis of any problems that arise.

You will also be part of our journey towards a continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment (CICD) pipeline. The Continues Delivery part consists of writing test cases for the automated test environment and maintaining this environment to improve further automation.

Also develop and maintain the scripting for automatic generation of the PLC code and auto-deploy of the plant and controller to the emulated environment. Doing regular retrospective and refinement on further reducing the manual work. Also think of improvements for the Continues Integration part of our pipeline.

What do we ask from you?

A technical Bachelor's or Master's degree;
  • You have knowledge/experience or are willing to learn PowerShell scripting.
  • You have knowledge/experience or are willing to learn Gherkin test case language.
  • You have knowledge and affinity with (system) testing;
  • Knowledge of Siemens S7 and TIA portal is a plus.
  • Knowledge of DevOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery is an advantage.
  • Able to speak and document in the English language.
