Position: Relationship Development Director

Team: Mid Corporate

As a Relationship Development Director at Barclays, you will manage, develop, and grow a portfolio of approximately 15 customers with turnovers ranging between £6.5 and £50 million, or with debt requirements exceeding £1 million. You will excel in customer service and deepen relationships to drive success.

Key skills for this role include stakeholder management and communication abilities. Additional skills such as IFS: ACIB, PCertB, Cert BB&C, DipBB&C, or Omega Credit Skills Development (CSD) are relevant. This role is based out of Lincoln, and it is essential to confirm your Legal Right to Work for any application.

Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this role is to develop and manage financial products and services, bridging the gap between product development, marketing, sales, and customer service with in-depth expertise.

Accountabilities

  • Provide SME expertise on specific products and services, including features, functionalities, benefits, limitations, risks, and compliance.
  • Identify market trends and regulatory requirements by analyzing data from sales figures and customer feedback to support the product development process and communicate key findings to stakeholders.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide guidance on product usage.
  • Present product advantages and features to potential customers to build trust and encourage adoption.
  • Assist with developing and executing marketing materials for the product, such as brochures, presentations, and online content.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to share product knowledge and expertise with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Engage in events, conferences, and networking opportunities to showcase the product and generate interest.
