BPA & R2R Analyst Position

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive tax compliance activities with the R2R team, managing INE, COPE, and VAT recovery.
  • Collaborate with the BPA team to optimize planning and controlling processes.
  • Ensure precise cost recognition and FTE allocation within the IM division.
  • Deliver insightful ad-hoc management reports to key business partners.
  • Spearhead AI enhancements and data consistency in the Genie application.
  • Proactively engage with NOCC teams on tax and statutory matters.
  • Provide responsive support to local teams, addressing queries efficiently.
  • Champion productivity improvements and process innovations for maximum effectiveness.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Business-level proficiency in English; Dutch language skills highly advantageous.
  • Proven expertise in local GAAP and Novartis Financial Controls Manual (NFCM).
  • Strong track record in fostering a robust control environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and document clear financial processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS and local statutory accounting principles.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, particularly in cross-functional environments.
  • Results-driven mindset aligned with Novartis values and behaviors.
