We are looking for a Performance Analyst for our Investment Reporting & Performance (IRP) department, that is situated within the Securities Services business line of BNP Paribas SA Amsterdam Branch.

The position you’re applying for/Your new role

The Performance Analyst is situated within CIB2S Netherlands in Amsterdam and is part of a dynamic team with client contact, possibility to improve our operating model and proximity to a global network of reporting specialists.

Experience with Simcorp Dimension is a strong advantage.

This role is responsible for performance measurement and investment reporting to institutional clients and for the complete, accurate and timeliness reporting to the clients. The aim of the Investment Analytics and Data Services department is to produce the investment data as efficient as possible and to convert this into clear information for our customers. The team is continuously challenged to improve existing products and processes to improve efficiency but also achieve recognition by clients for high quality services.

Your responsibilities

  • Ensure complete, timely and accurate reporting to clients and regulatorsMaintain a client focus and obtain high level of client satisfactionBe the first point of contact for Dutch clients regarding reporting and performance queriesBe on top of changes in legislation and market practices with regard to performance measurement and client reporting Participate in the migration and onboarding projects and analyze developments in the field of performance and investment reportingImplement new products and maintenance of systems and reports in close collaboration with both local and global teamsContribute to achievement of exceptionally good operational results for clientsEnsuring high quality of service to clientsDemonstrate strong working knowledge of the market and monitoring market movementsAssist in the development of the business by analyzing and helping to evaluate impact of market changes.

Who are you

  • Bachelor or University degree in Finance, Economics, Applied Economics, Econometrics or equivalent2 to 5 years of relevant working experienceExperience in performance measurement and investment reporting for institutional clientsKnowledge on investment strategies, reporting systems, investment proceduresProven affinity with Information TechnologyAbility to develop efficient working relationships with various stakeholders locally and abroadUnderstanding of business needs of major international & domestic investment institutions and their objectives in using BNP Paribas CIB productsNative Dutch and fluent in English, both verbally and writtenTeam player, proactive and risk-aware

Job related competencies:

  • You are experienced in SimCorp DimensionYou have strong technical skills (mainly Excel, Visual Basic and SQL)You are analytical, accurate and able to work with tight deadlinesFluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written) and you are a client friendly communicatorYou have profound knowledge of equity and fixed income products as well as derivativesYou have good organizational skills and are able to work autonomouslyYou have profound knowledge of the Dutch securities market practices and regulations.
