At the Customs department, we work hard to efficiently process imports and exports of goods outside the EU borders. There are increasing demands on the systems needed to perform this work as effectively as possible. At IV/Customs, we develop and improve the applications required for this. As a tester in Apeldoorn, you will contribute to the development of a new application: the Customs Debtors Administration (DDA). You help realize the desired functionalities and work towards the (scrum) goals of the team.
You will work within the TAAK chain (Post-control, Excise & Customer Management) in the Inning team. This team consists of several developers and testers, a product owner, scrum master, subject matter expert, and application manager. This team is building the Customs Debtors Administration (DDA), which will replace the current application. In this agile team, you have a diverse range of tasks as a tester. You and your colleagues ensure that all desired functionalities are developed. You do this by supporting the team with test designs, test strategies, and automated regression tests. Additionally, you design chain tests and guide users through acceptance tests. You prepare, execute, and safeguard these various types of tests in a DTAP environment. Furthermore, you contribute to setting up and maintaining an automated testing environment.
The TAAK chain is responsible for developing, managing, and providing IV facilities for, among other things, the Excise and Collection process. The development of new applications and the improvement or expansion of existing applications occur in short cycles, following the Agile development method. You will also play an active role in the team's (scrum) objectives. By identifying bottlenecks and contributing to test guidelines where necessary, you work on continuously improving the team's results.
