Your mission is to elevate Rituals into an even more vibrant and inclusive wellbeing brand. At our Amsterdam Head Office, you'll take the lead in owning our health management strategies, ensuring that our policies not only support but also inspire our teams. You'll design and spearhead initiatives that foster a culture of vitality, driving down absenteeism and enhancing the overall wellbeing of our employees. Your expertise will be key in promoting a healthy, energized workplace where everyone can thrive.

You’ll embody our philosophy of "aim big, act small," making a tangible impact through your responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact for managers, external providers and employees
  • Offer direction on managing absences and the reintegration legislation process to HR(BP), Advisers, and Managers
  • Maintain oversight of the reintegration legislation in instances of mid- and long-term absence
  • Handle account management for absence and reintegration service providers
  • Responsible to set-up and guide SMT (social medical team) meetings
  • Contribute expertise to HRBP/HR Advisors in dealing with potential labor conflicts escalating into absenteeism
  • Contribute to improve the health management system continuously
  • Execute local policies and safeguard compliance with relevant legislation, e.g., Wet Poortwachter, WAB, and RI&E
  • Develop and drive prevention initiatives

The Role in-depth

At Rituals, we believe in nurturing a healthy, happy work environment. As our Case Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the well-being of our Head Office employees. You'll take charge of our health policies and absenteeism-related processes, ensuring everything runs like clockwork. From managing ongoing cases to aligning HR and absenteeism processes, your role will be at the heart of maintaining a smooth, compliant, and efficient operation.

Your mission? To keep things running seamlessly, working closely with managers and employees to navigate each case with care and precision.

But there’s more—once you’ve ensured the day-to-day processes are on track, you’ll have the chance to focus on optimalization of the current processes. You'll dive deep into policy enhancements and collaborate with HR Business Partners and Advisors to elevate our support to the business.

How can we empower managers to better manage absenteeism? What can we implement to foster a healthier, more inclusive work environment? Which emerging trends should we address to prevent absenteeism before it starts? These are the questions you’ll explore, sharing your insights with our Centres of Expertise to drive meaningful change.

You'll stay closely connected with the business by being an integral part of our HR Advisor team, reporting directly to one of our HR Business Partners. Together, we’ll create a workplace where our diverse employees can thrive.

More about the team

Rituals offers a challenging role in an eager and diverse team (6 fte), where empowering your colleagues (and vice versa) is part of the deal. Although our proposition encompasses attractive benefits and compensation package, the (international) scope and impact of the position may appeal to you even more. You’ll spend (most of) your time at our Amsterdam Central Head Office at the Keizersgracht. We hope you can appreciate the view of one of the most iconic Amsterdam canals.

Bring all of you

High on energy, low on ego and with a little bit of humor. Your commitment to helping managers and employees thrive is evident in your proactive, approachable, and consultative style. You handle difficult conversations with grace, thanks to your constructive and charismatic communication skills. You’re excited to contribute to a growing organization, knowing that your efforts help make it more effective and efficient every day. You turn ideas into action and proudly champion your area of expertise. And as if that weren't enough:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree and Rccm®, RCMC®, Crov® and/or ROV® accreditation;
  • 3-5 years of case management experience in high-volume settings, such as retail, the food & beverage sector, at employment agencies and/or with occupational health services;
  • Current and in-depth knowledge of local labour law and legislation: Gatekeeper Improvement Act (WvP), Work and Income according to Capacity for Work Act (WIA), Sickness Benefits Act (ZW)
  • You approach your work with a great deal of flexibility – what needs to be done gets done, even if that topic wasn’t on your radar during your morning cup of coffee
  • You are open, warm, communicative, and results-oriented
  • You like a mix of tactical (e.g., devising policies) and operational responsibilities
