Job Overview

We are looking for a strong and analytical Financial Planning & Analysis Professional who thrives in an international & dynamic environment and drives continuous improvement for our Finance department in Amsterdam. Your Impact at MUFG

As an FP&A professional you provide the insights in the business performance, prepare financial projections and support the strategic decision making and new business development. You collaborate closely with various stakeholders (division heads and consolidating countries) both across MBE and in the wider EMEA network. The role reports directly into the Head of Financial Planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create an insightful and high quality MI supporting the decision making process.
  • Support the annual budget setting process across MBE network and budget monitoring throughout the year.
  • Develop and update financial projections (forecasts) and related documentation.
  • Support and advice in design, deployment and operating of financial control framework, including profitability monitoring and improvement, expense budget allocation and control Capital projections and management.
  • Lead or participate in required strategic projects or initiatives in facilitating enhancement of financial controls, providing expertise and recommending proportional cost effective and efficient solutions.

Skills and Experience

In order to be successful in the role, you will need the following:

  1. Bachelor/Master's degree in Finance, Economics.
  2. Preferably professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent).
  3. 3+ years of relevant experience such as experience in FP&A, Business Controlling, Transaction Services, Finance, Consultancy etc.
  4. Analytical Abilities/Financial Acumen/Problem Solving skills.
  5. Advanced Excel, Modelling, Data Manipulation and PowerPoint presentation skills.
  6. Pro-active self-starter, able to handle diverse workload.
  7. Affinity and experience with BI tooling such as Power BI.
  8. Fluent in both written and spoken English.
