Global Sustainability Manager

Location: Amsterdam

RESPONSIBILITIES

As our Global Sustainability Manager, you are responsible for managing programs and reporting related to Coty`s sustainability priorities.

Your main focus:

• Co-leading annual sustainability reporting compliance with CSRD & in accordance with voluntary sustainability reporting frameworks.
• Co-managing external reporting, questionnaire and assessment from external stakeholders and being the main point of contact & coordinator for replying to fashion house & retailer requests on sustainability related topics.
• Co-managing the overall ESG data collection & external audit/verification process.
• Supporting in designing, developing, and documenting internal controls for sustainability reporting in line with internal & external developments.
• Supporting in building global sustainability partnerships & memberships as well as engagement
• Managing collaboration with other Coty functions, notably corporate affairs, procurement, supply chain, R&D, facilities to develop Coty’s sustainability policies.
• Monitoring sustainability practices of industry peers, newly developed standards, and expectations of external stakeholders, and communicating key findings.
• Creating training materials for functions and teams to both educate on sustainability best practices as well as drive sustainability culture in the company.
• Helping to plan and coordinate events held by Sustainability Office, such as sustainability champions connects and face-to-face workshops & summits, as well as providing administrative support to Sustainability Office.

The team consists of the Global Senior ESG Manager, the Global Sustainability Director and the Head of Sustainability Office.

YOU ARE A COTY FIT

You like to get stuck in, proactively drive change & transformation and deliver tasks independently. As Global Sustainability Manager, you possess high agility for change management and will strive in an environment of transformation.

You will feel energised from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment.

Other than that, you will have:

• Minimum Bachelor degree – Sustainability/Finance/Economics/Business & Management
• 3+ years of experience
• Experience in complex, multi-national company (preferably consumer goods industry or consulting)
• Expertise in sustainability reporting, building up processes and procedures, management of complex projects and/or eagerness to expand knowledge and scope
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong communication skills to persuade others, articulate a point of view, and set direction you are capable of synthesizing data to drive business decisions
