EU Corporate Sustainability Strategist

Your Role in Our Story:

In essence, your role involves:

Commercial Outreach and Research

• Researching and developing new corporate sustainability products and programs, expansion of coverage for existing ACT corporate sustainability products (EACs for electricity, biomethane, carbon products)
• Developing new approaches and solutions to sophisticate sustainability solutions for corporate clients (e.g., insetting solutions)
• Monitor all key regulations (EU and national) linked to carbon accounting and ESG regulatory responsibilities
• Coordinate corporate sustainability topics across geographies (information exchange)

Client engagement

• Providing insights to clients on corporate sustainability trends
• Understanding broad topics related to corporate sustainability and how they fit into ACT's customers' sustainability journey: e.g., Power, Scope 3 options
• Together with Sales and Marketing teams, you will create deliverables for our corporate clients

Knowledge building: internal

• Building and deepen the knowledge of the sales team on corporate sustainability topics, with regular updates
• Creating internal guidance documents

Your Expertise, Our Shared Success:

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes

• Masters graduate of Environmental Management, Sustainability, Business, Finance, or another relevant study with a focus on environmental or sustainability topics;
• An affinity for corporate sustainability standards (GHG Protocol, SBTi, CDP) and trends, Scope 3 accounting and solutions, and carbon markets with knowledge of carbon products related to the Paris Agreement
• Fluent in English. French, German, Spanish are pluses
• A Commercially minded approach to your work
• Intellectually curious and able to demonstrate structured problem-solving and analytical skills;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills;
• Aptitude for taking initiative, a commercial and creative mind with an entrepreneurial attitude;
• Motivated and pragmatic individual who goes off the beaten path.
