As a Full Stack Developer within the Software Development team, you will play an essential role in the technical realisation and maintenance of web applications – both the graphical user interface, the technical back-end and integrations with other systems. At Rijk Zwaan, we have dozens of applications – both standard packages, custom solutions and internally developed low-code apps (OutSystems) – that we deliver through an automated development environment. A wide range of systems need to be integrated, from web and mobile apps to automated warehouses, and even sensors and machines in the production process. In this role, you will work in close collaboration with our implementation partner on the development of our e-commerce platform (Intershop), which is used to sell our extensive range of vegetable seeds to customers worldwide. Besides that, your activities will include: Development and maintenance of applications in a scrum team;Troubleshooting when something goes wrong in the complex application landscape;Further development of our own integration framework (ServiceStack, nServiceBus);Staying up to date on relevant trends and developments in IT. Your contribution: You have strong communication skills and can work well in an interactive scrum team in an agile environment. You can stay focused on what’s important and proactively contribute innovative ideas within the existing frameworks.
