The internship:

Are you a student passionate about both frontend and backend? You will be the bridge between both worlds. With your skills, you will help us in our mission to disrupt the beverage industry and save 1 billion plastic bottles before 2030. All our products are designed and produced in-house. Making this your ultimate coding playground.

• You will primarily be working on helping to develop the data collection, management and representation of our smart solutions.
• Further developing the Aquablu Dashboard, as well as working on the API design and database and server management behind it.
• Involved in the whole package: drive the design, coding, testing, bring-up, integration, continuous maintenance, improvements, and releases of the subsystems.
• Learn from our passionate and experienced in-house developers, growing alongside them.

*This internship is on-site at our office in Amsterdam. The duration is September 2024 until end of February 2025 (6 months). *

About you:

• Enrolled in a higher education (HBO/WO) degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar, for the entire duration of the internship (this is mandatory).
• Experience with database management (MySQL).
• Familiarity with Laravel and any javascript framework.
• Keen eye for detail and writing scalable clean code.
• Know how to translate customer requests into functionalities.
• Able to work independently as part of a larger team of engineers.
• Are looking for a full-time internship for a minimum of 6 months in our HQ in Amsterdam.
• You are based in the Netherlands, preferably Amsterdam.
