Piggy is one of the fastest growing SaaS scale-ups in the Netherlands and is a European market leader for customer and employee engagement & loyalty software. We are looking for software developers who want to help us take our product and team to the next level.

Our product team consists of a tightly knit group of around fifteen highly motivated, talented, and diverse developers and UX designers. Most days, we work from our office in Maarssen, as we like to work together – and this enables us to have drinks after work (not limited to Fridays) – but partially remote work is definitely an option as well. We work in two-weeks sprints in an adapted, lightweight form of scrum (basically fewer meetings), which works well for us.

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be working on building innovative, scalable solutions for a platform that handles many marketing activities and loyalty- and gift card transactions per second for thousands of companies all over the world. The product suite which you will be improving consists of:

  • Means of data attraction
  • Engagement tools
  • Loyalty features
  • Gift card and prepaid solutions
  • Emailing and branding
  • Automations and customer journeys
  • Whatever else you come up with

  • A WO/university thinking level – no specific degree required
  • At least two years of working experience as a full stack developer, preferably ±4-5 years+
  • Experience with (some of the following:) React, TypeScript, Webpack
  • Experience with (some of the following:) PHP, Laravel, MySQL, Kubernetes, Docker, Google Cloud Platform
  • A flexible team player, who likes to solve problems and gets motivated by building great products and features
  • Energetic, proactive, motivated and venturous. You don't like to sit back and wait for someone to tell you what to do, but you want to spend your time taking the product, team & company to the next level.
  • Likes to work on a broad spectrum of responsibilities and tasks. Preferably also has some aspirations to engage in either some team management, product/project management, or DevOps.
  • Someone who can coach their teammates, manage projects and communicate with stakeholders from various departments
  • An excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken

We offer you a comfortable, casual working environment, organized team activities as well as informal drinks (‘borrels’), and lots of opportunities to grow. In short, here’s what you can expect (based on 40 hours a week):

  • A professional, informal working environment, within a tight-knit team of developers
  • An amazing office-space in Maarssen, very easily reached by public transport or car
  • An established tech company looking to scale-up and expand internationally
  • A salary range is between €4,000 and €7,000, tailored to your level, experience, and background
  • A full-time employment contract (also open for discussion: 32 or 36 hours a week), including 25 vacation days and 8% vacation pay
  • Pension plan
  • Business and travel expense reimbursement
  • The opportunity to buy a brand new MacbookPro for your own, at 50% of the price
  • A generous training budget to help you stay on top of your game
  • Padel sessions with your colleagues
