We are looking for a WO/HBO intern student to help the Social Impact Team of Futurewhiz with supporting kids in need with our learning products and all that is related. The internship is 3 days a week for a period of 6 months.
Futurewhiz (the maker of learning products Squla, Studira, StudyGo and scoyo) is the Dutch market leader in online education for children. On our platforms, more than a million children, parents and teachers interact. We aim to provide digital, personalized education and learning, in order to positively enhance children's learning experiences, and improve their overall confidence. At Futurewhiz, we don’t only have an eye for profit but we value people, the environment and society. You will support the Social Impact Manager with growing the social impact department. Activities include:
Handling orders from foundations, charities and other organisations
Increase engagement and activation of our partners
Answering questions from foundations, other organisations and parents about Squla, StudyGo, Studira and WoordExtra
Finding new partners to collaborate with and reach out to them
Content creation: writing newsletters, blogs, maintaining social impact web pages, social media, etc.
Supporting charity activities such as sending goodies, creating activation codes for charities, supporting campaigns with charities
Supporting the Social Impact Manager with other various projects
You are a proactive person, looking for a chance to develop your skills and have a keen interest in all things related to digital learning and social impact, including:
You are a student in Marketing / Communication / Social Science / Business (WO/HBO level)
You are a good communicator and easily familiarize yourself with new digital tools
You have native Dutch and strong English writing and speaking skills
You have a proactive, enthusiastic and open attitude, and are eager to learn new things
You are flexible, creative and solution oriented
Futurewhiz’ office is near the Amstelstation in Amsterdam, so it would be convenient if you live closeby
You understand that we are a scale up. This means that we don’t have a fixed process for everything, your day will not always go as you plan it in the morning, and that there are a lot of opportunities!
You are available for 3 days a week, for 6 months, starting in August or September 2024
