As a Barclays Procurement Tech Execution Manager, you will be responsible for driving the process design and optimization of in scope platforms in line with the procurement strategy and accompanying digital technology roadmap. In this role, you will operate the global sourcing, purchasing, supplier and spend management within Barclays, and be responsible for working in partnership with business units and suppliers to deliver innovative solutions.

What will you be doing?

Driving the process design and optimisation of the platform in line with the function and domain strategies


Maintaining integrity of strategy / vision of the platform, ensuring change remains aligned to the intended purpose of the tool


Ensuring the continued alignment of Procurement Digital and product specific road map


Raising awareness of forthcoming capabilities prior to and at release


Supporting leadership and stakeholders to define the measures of success


Challenging the business and data designs, ensuring they are of the necessary completeness and quality to move forward

What we’re looking for:

Experienced in Systems or Project Lead, with practical understanding of delivering new technology


Ability to quickly assimilate new demand and be able to lead assessment against impact to strategy


An SME proficient in challenging existing methods of working at a senior level


Skills that will help you in the role:

Degree qualified in relevant discipline or relevant business experience


Understanding of the full end to end Procurement supply chain processes, technologies and architecture


Ability to thrive in highly complex operating environment

Where will you be working?

Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997. This state-of-the art energy efficient building holds up to 2,500 staff.
