Airbridge Equity Partners (Airbridge) is a highly entrepreneurial and long-term oriented investment house, operating across Europe. Airbridge provides early-, later-stage, and follow-on growth financing in a founder-friendly manner combined with hands-on support.

Airbridge is expanding its operations and is looking to hire an Investment Analyst to support our ventures and internal operations.

Profile

As someone excited about the nexus between technology, investments, and entrepreneurship, you will support the on-going operations, our ventures and develop your own activities. As such, we expect someone critical and analytical, with perseverance and a sense of humor. You’re expected to take a pro-active approach but can rely on being supported wherever necessary.

Ideally, you have between one and two years of experience within a relevant field, such as Venture Capital, Private Equity, Corporate Finance or Consultancy.

Responsibilities

Markets, industries, and companies

  • Finding and reaching out to promising companies that fit our investment scope
  • Company screening for initial evaluation
  • Construct overviews of industries, constituents and trends
  • Initiate contact and meetings with companies and industry players
  • Meet and collaborate with industry peers, including (international) events

Investment analysis

  • Analyse financial statements and propositions
  • Support portfolio companies and help implement strategies to improve operations and/or strengthen financial controls
  • Prepare relevant investment/supporting documents

Due Diligence

  • Gather and analyse information from the target company and industry experts
  • Research and talk to existing references and customers of the target company
  • Analyse industry state of play and competitors
  • Research and support technical/business consultants to evaluate technology including IPs
  • Analyse company economics and investment feasibility

Requisite skills and experience

  • Relevant academic field of study with strong credentials (e.g. Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering)
  • 1 or 2 years of investment experience in prior roles
  • Outstanding analytical skills, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • High to native proficiency in English
