For our headquarters in Amsterdam, we are looking for a full-time Intern to support our People & Culture (PC)-Team. SkyNRG is an advanced scale-up at the forefront of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). SkyNRG has developed into a global leader on SAF, active in countless innovative projects aimed at growing the SAF sector. Scaling a new industry can only be done by working collaboratively with all relevant stakeholders airlines, airports, technology developers, producers, suppliers, governments, NGOs, and academics. SkyNRG is a global leader in Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). Since 2010, the company has been scaling up SAF demand and production capacity for the industry to meet its 2050 net zero commitment. To date, SkyNRG has supplied SAF to over 40 airlines across the world and is now developing dedicated production facilities to support the shift from fossil jet fuel to sustainable aviation fuel. About the role

SkyNRG is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated People & Culture intern to join our team. As a People & Culture intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic, rapidly growing work environment. You will be involved in various People and Culture processes and projects, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of different aspects of the People and Culture field.

Your responsibilities :

  • Support the People & Culture department in daily operational tasks, such as drafting employment contracts, maintaining employee records, and processing changes in the HR information system.
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including writing job advertisements, screening resumes, scheduling job interviews and updating the Applicant Tracking System (Teamtailor).
  • Contribute to the onboarding process for new employees, including organizing introduction programs and arranging necessary facilities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of People & Culture policies and procedures. Actively participate in People & Culture related projects, such as establishing a DE&I strategy, supporting CSR topics, optimising the Employee Handbook, facilitating the SkyAcademy, and the new onboarding program.

Your profile*

As a growing company in a rapidly developing industry, we are looking for someone who likes to play an active role in building out our business and is not afraid of change. Ideally, you recognise yourself in the following:

    • Currently pursuing a relevant degree at the HBO or university level, such as Human Resource Management, Personnel Sciences, or Work and Organizational Psychology.
    • Be a student for the duration of the internship, with graduation expected at the end of the internship.
    • Strong interest in the People & Culture field and a desire to gain practical experience.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
    • Proactive, independent, and detail-oriented.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle confidential information.
    • Fluency in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
