BAE Systems do offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however it is expected on our Graduate Programme you will be required to attend your site approximately 3-4 days per week. What you will be doing

You will support the Business in managing software and product security aspects of a number of specific systems through design, manufacture, integration and test. You will provide expert support to both internal and external organisations, ensuring that system requirements related to these disciplines are met.
You will work towards ensuring that our products are as secure as possible and developed with an understanding of modern Product Security best practice within a team of experienced professionals. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Utilising industry best practice, your security understanding and through innovative consideration of threats to the product, conduct product security risk assessments.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (system engineers and project managers) to grow your understanding of the product and ensure that secure requirements are developed and considered in system design.
  • Use your system knowledge in a security context to liaise with suppliers to help them understand the product threat landscape and the context for selecting security controls.
  • Develop your presentation skills through research and delivery of security related topics to the Product Security team.
  • Learn about the operation and use case for specific systems and conduct Threat modelling to ensure that selected security controls are sufficient to deliver a secure product.
  • Develop cross functional understanding by attending different working groups within the Programme or Business and contribute from a Product Security perspective.

Skills
As a minimum requirement you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in one of the following IT, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Cyber Security or related degree.
