Within Tech4Ops, we want to deliver the best possible services for secure and continuous IT operations to other DevOps teams, so that they can focus on what is most important: adding value to Rabobank. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Product Owner with a proven track record in security to join our team. Someone that wants to learn new skills in the field of security and is not afraid to dive into new topics. On top of that, you should be able to take your team and stakeholders along with new ideas or challenging them.

As the Product Owner for the security platform, you will play a crucial role in driving the vision, the roadmap and the development of the platform. The main challenges are to provide a stable platform, to seek opportunities to reduce Ops work, and to identify opportunities based on stakeholders' needs and market developments. To achieve this, you collaborate with other Product Owners, Architects, Scrum Masters and stakeholders such as data ingestion teams, detection teams and security operations teams across continents that all use your security platform.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the product vision and development. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and use these as input for the prioritized roadmap.
  • Define and prioritize product backlog items based on input from stakeholders, organizational objectives, and market innovations.
  • Leading by example through ensuring that our product adheres to security best practices & compliance standards and sharing this knowledge throughout the community.
  • Ability to work agile in a complex environment and to be able apply this in your team to enable predictable & efficient value delivery to stakeholders.
  • Use metrics to drive continuous improvement within the team.
  • Work together with fellow product owners to align priorities, dependencies, and roadmaps.
  • Shared responsibility with your team’s Scrum Master and Solution Architect to ensure alignment of the backlog with overall architectural and Agile framework standards.
  • Demonstrate the ability to make tough decisions and say "no" when necessary, ensuring that the product backlog remains focused and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Act as an ambassador for the Tech4Ops area, representing the interests, ambitions, and priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Product Owner.
  • Affinity/tendency to interact with (new) technologies. Experience as data engineer/developer is considered a bonus.
  • PSPO I and preferably PSPO II certification.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices, with working experience in scaled Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make a translation from technical requirements to business requirements.
  • Background in Cloud platforms and Security. Advantage when you have experience with cloud security products as well (e.g. Sentinel).
  • Good understanding of agile values and the flexibility to be able to apply this in practice.
  • Azure certifications are preferred.
