Dyson’s multidisciplinary Energy Storage development team is responsible for delivering cells from early prototypes in the UK, through to volume manufacture in a Singapore plant. The cells that the team delivers will push the boundaries of performance, power density, and efficiency. These cells will drive new high value Dyson products with step improvements over our competitors.

Dyson Energy Storage is seeking a highly motivated Head of Supply Chain to work closely with engineering, Manufacturing, development and finance teams to set up supply chain for the new department. As the Head of Supply Chain, you will have a significant contribution to increasing the speed at which engineering can innovate. Your work will have a direct impact on our ability to scale prototype concepts and builds while continuing to innovate our products and processes.

About the role

• Design and build end to end supply chain process for Dyson Energy Storage (Battery) business division from Cell to Pack.

• Design planning, logistics, warehousing, cell traceability strategy and implementation

• Define metrics and performance standards.

• Ensure standards and compliance due diligence are pro-actively looked after and drive smooth supply chain operations.

• Lead search, negotiation and qualification of vendors associated within supply chain (3PL, Warehouse, etc.) and ensure successful deployment.

• Experience in Equipment procurement (manufacturing equipment) is highly desirable.

About you

• Demonstrated experience in the capacity of a supply chain Director / Head of in a manufacturing company and environment.

• In-depth knowledge and proven track record on end to end supply chain management and set up.

• Experience in Greenfield project with large CAPEX.

• Experience in sourcing, selecting, contracting, and negotiating manufacturing production equipment.

• Experience in sourcing, selecting, contracting and operating 3rd party supply chain vendors.
