As a Supply chain Intern at IDEXX you will work in a dynamic and international environment. You will learn to work cross-functionally, in areas across the Warehousing & Logistics organization, such as Inbound/Outbound, Import/export, Facility, Customer Support, Centre of Excellence, Engineering, and Finance.

In this role

  • You will work on your process analysis and problem-solving skills working on improvement opportunities in a complex and dynamic environment.

  • You will build your project planning skills where you’ll have to plan and prioritize work to meet commitments on project deliverables.

  • You will develop your analytic mindset in setting up business case of improvement projects, anticipating and balancing the needs of stakeholders in different organizational levels.

You will work on your collaboration skills, building partnership and working closely with different project stakeholders – both internal and external.

What you will need to succeed

  • You are currently working on the completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain or related field.

  • You are hands-on, not afraid to be on the shop floor in the middle of the action and get your feet wet

  • You are a self-starter and have the ability to work efficiently both in teams and independently.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, written and verbal.

  • Advanced MS Office skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

  • We offer you an allowance of 650 euros per month, a fair share of responsibilities, and the opportunity to be part of a great international team.

  • We aim for a start by the beginning of September 2024 to stay for a minimum of 6 months. Our office is located next to Hoofddorp, Netherlands train station (25 minutes from Amsterdam by train). You will be required to visit the Hoofddorp DC 1-2 days min per week after training.

  • Please note this is a full-time work experience internship. Therefore, it does not qualify as a thesis or graduation internship, or as a part-time assignment
