As the , you will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the strategic direction of our global business processes. You will be responsible for managing the strategic pillar that drives our global direction and ongoing improvements. This includes setting key metrics, defining core reporting elements, and guiding the organization toward achieving established goals. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of our global business services.

This role reports to the Director of Global Business Services. This position requires previous experience in finance global business services, shared services, and technological transformation of global business service centers.

What You Will Be Doing:

Strategic Direction Setting:

  • You will develop and outline the strategic direction for global business processes, aligning them with the company's overall strategic goals.
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization and innovation.

Performance Metrics and Reporting:

  • You will create and manage key performance metrics and reporting mechanisms that provide visibility into the effectiveness of global business processes.
  • You will regularly review and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions.

Goal Setting and Monitoring:

  • You will collaborate with senior leadership to set and cascade organizational goals related to global business services.
  • You will continuously monitor progress toward established goals and take proactive measures to address any deviations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • You will foster strong relationships with leaders across various departments to ensure alignment and synergy with global business services strategy.
  • You will drive collaboration efforts to streamline processes and improve overall operational efficiency.

Change Management and Innovation:

  • You will promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the global business services function.
  • You will lead change management initiatives to drive adoption of new processes and technologies.

Resource Allocation:

  • You will manage and optimize resource allocation to support the execution of strategic initiatives.
  • You will ensure the team is adequately staffed and equipped to achieve strategic objectives.

Experience in Process and Organization Optimization:

  • Proven experience in optimizing global business processes and organizational structures for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.

  • Strong change management skills to lead and facilitate the adoption of new processes and technologies.
  • Ability to communicate the benefits of change and mitigate resistance.

Financial Acumen:

  • Financial literacy with the ability to analyze financial data, budgets, and cost structures.
  • Proficiency in making data-driven financial decisions that align with strategic objectives.

Leadership Capabilities:

  • Ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Proven experience in building high-performing teams and developing talent.

Deep Understanding of Shared Services Operations and Industry Trends:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of shared services operations, including best practices and industry benchmarks.
  • Awareness of current and emerging trends in the shared services industry and the ability to apply them to strategy development.

Global Perspective:

  • Experience working in a global or multinational organization, with a keen understanding of cultural nuances and global business dynamics.
  • Ability to adapt strategies to different regions and markets while maintaining a cohesive global approach.

Innovation and Creativity:

Proven ability to foster innovation within the organization and identify opportunities for creative solutions to challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Experience in a strategic leadership role within global business services or a similar function.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful global business services strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Change management expertise and experience driving process improvement initiatives.
