Product Manager Data Protection

You work in a challenging, international environment and directly contribute to Rabobank becoming an even more data driven digital bank. Being data driven requires being in control of our data. Being in control our data depends on our governance platform services which are used across Rabobank, globally.

You and your job

You are part of a team of Product Managers responsible for governance platform services used across Rabobank. These services cover data quality management, metadata management, data lineage, reference data, data protection/privacy management and analytics governance. You will be responsible for leading the implementation of a new application supporting data protection and privacy management services.

Practical Examples

• Create a roadmap for implementation of new application for features such as data breach management, data protection impact assessment, ROPA.
• Work closely with Chapter Data Protection to implement new features and business processes for privacy management globally.
• Map and implement well designed user journeys to make privacy management activities easier to execute and be more in control.
• Manage integrations with other data management and data platform applications.

Top 3 responsibilities

• Lead one squad (new) responsible for implementing a new application supporting data protection/privacy management services.
• Manage delivery with a clear roadmap (communicated to stakeholders) as well as a well-managed backlog for the squad.
• Collaborate and communicate with chapter data protection, other platform squads and users to realize a successful implementation.

Our team, Area Governance Platform, is part of the Tribe Global Data & Analytics Platform and currently consists of 4 enthusiastic Product Managers. The team is responsible for delivering the various data governance tools which form an overall platform. In future the scope of the team will include analytics governance. We do this together with 5 IT DevOps teams (consisting mainly of business analysts and platform engineers). Working together is the way we work; as 1 passionate, result driven, diverse team at Rabobank.

You and your talent

• Strong analytical skills- academic background (Bachelor or Master degree).
• Experience in product management or similar (min 3 years).
• Knowledge and experience in the field of privacy management and data management (min 3 years).
• Knowledge & experience of One Trust privacy management software is an advantage.
• Experience implementing a new system.
• Proven ability to plan and deliver results while building collaborative relationships.

This is what we offer you

• A 36-hour work week with a gross monthly salary in scale 10 (€5.115 – €7307) depending on your experience.
• Extra budget of 11% of your gross salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or ask for part of the extra budget to be paid out.
• Thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance.
• A personal development budget of € 1.400.
