As a key member, you'll be responsible for developing, executing, and analyzing research initiatives while refining methodologies to align with our R&D strategy and project standards. Your contributions will directly impact the realization of project objectives, all within a company dedicated to sustainability and recognized as a top employer in The Netherlands.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains and promotes a safe work environment, complies with safety policies and procedures. Follows safe work practices for personal and equipment safety, in both the laboratory and in the field. End results are zero or minimum safety incidents and a clean, orderly working environment.
  • Sets-up, plans, executes, analyses, interprets and reports experiments within own unit.
  • Identifies new product/process optimization and technical solutions and new application opportunities for own area/domain and shares these with other professionals.
  • Keeps current on uses and improves relevant research methods in the field, ensures retention of knowledge through research reports.
  • Participates in projects and ensures execution and delivery of technical results.
  • Formulates and presents solution directions and issues advice at request or at own initiative.

What do you need to have to be successful in this role?

Experience:

  • Alternatively, 1-3 years of relevant experience with a Master’s Degree.
  • Or 0-2 years of relevant experience with a PhD.

Education Level:

  • Technical education in a pertinent field such as chemistry, chemical technology, environmental science, mathematics, statistics, data science, etc.
